Welcome to the Endangered Animal unit. On this page you will learn about animals that are in danger of disappearing from the world. Watch the video to learn what endangered species are, why some animals are in danger of extinction, and what people can do to protect them.
In the following activity, write a short riddle about an endangered animal. Think about the animal's appearance, habitat, food, and special features. Include three to four sentences and one helpful clue. Then read your classmates' riddles and comment with your guesses. If you need some help, explore using google, books and other sources.
